Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

★★★★★ Love love love. This is my new favorite lipstick! I think it’s so expensive, but honestly it is worth it to me. It looks so gorgeous on. It feels great on my lips. It doesn’t last through eating, but few lipsticks do and with how nice it is to apply I have no issues reapplying.

Goes with everything, and is especially beautiful with a dress and sweater of the same color that I have! Smells like castor oil and subtly moisturizes my lips. It isn't perfect for what I'm looking for though, as I don't like that lipsticks are usually a little drying. However, when I apply lip balm underneath it's just fine. I have fair skin and blonde hair, so I don't know if the color would show up on dark skin. I know there are dupes for this but I don't want to buy them-- just this.

I never usually pay attention to those kinds of ads, especially because I don’t wear lipstick, the closet thing I do with my lips is chapstick. And even then, that’s rare. Anyways, I wanted to feel more feminine and add some color to my every day look and I ended up seeking out Clinique black honey. I went to Ulta, and they had none in store. So I went to Amazon. My first impression was the color is dark, near black. But when applying to my lips it was definitely lighter. It required me two or three layers to achieve the depth of color I wanted. The lipstick last a few hours without needing to reapply. I don’t notice any smears on my teeth or straws. My teen daughters like the color. I think the value for the money is worth it.
