Soft and Fluffy, Great for hamsters just like the experienced owners said. As someone who’s just started raising a hamster again after half a decade of my last one (RIP Yogi, you old fart), I was nervous about buying this bedding as reviews lately have been hit or miss, but hamster owners with experience still recommended this bedding highly so I took the gamble to try to buy it on a good day and got two 50 liter bags (Technically 49.2 but ya know, semantics), since this time I want to give my hamster the best I can get.It came out great, the packaging was secure, the bedding was soft and fluffy after fluffing it up out of the bag, and thankfully no big dust issues have arisen, which is extra great because I am very allergic to dust. I’ve only sneezed once while setting my new hamster’s (I got him almost a week ago as of writing this) cage up but I expected that given the type of bedding this is and it was only when I was trying to unpack it from the bag.My dwarf hamster has been burrowing under it (a good 6 inches of it) constantly and even has a frequent one he goes to in his cage’s corner because it holds them better than Carefresh since that brand is denser than this one. Not only that, it doesn’t smell, I’ve not had any odor come out of my new hamster’s cage. Maybe it’s too soon to tell, but I think it’s still a good sign, I doubt it’ll be hard to spot clean since hamsters don’t make big messes.The only “problem” I have with it is because it is a really expanding fluffy bedding, it is deceiving when you try to fill a 6 inch pan to the near top with it, since the hamster walking around it will flatten it over time due to its lack of density. I recommend adding a different substrate to it to help lessen that, Aspen is great. That’s not much of an issue but rather just a fault of what the product is made out of material-wise but it’s not too big a deal to be a detriment.Despite the gamble that is seen in the reviews, this bedding is still recommended for hamsters and for good reason. It’s soft, fluffy, safe for them to burrow in since it’s just paper, great for burrows at that, and although the dustiness has been stated to have risen over the products lifespan, it’s also been stated to be not as dusty as Carefresh would be which is why I chose this brand over that one. Lesser of the two evils in that regard, but I say get this for your hamsters nonetheless because the pros outweigh the cons when you get a good bag.
No more ferret stink. I purchased this bedding for my ferrets cage and it works wonders. I was cleaning it everyday because I am just that person. But because this bedding is so absorbent it allows for me to atleast have a day break in between cleanings. I line his cage with this bedding and litter for ferrets and itmakes cleaning up his little nasty bathroom breaks so much easier. It does have a wet papery smell after he urines and poops, but that is to be expected given the type of bedding it is, but I would definitely recommend this for the little furbabies.
Guinea Pig bedding. The bedding is really nice. It’s very soft.The only issue is that it is a bit pricey.
The smell is strong. All you smell is lavender so will definitely hide any feces odor. It’s worked great. Used it for a week and didn’t smell anything. And the guinea pigs liked it too
Great value. I always get this for my animals off amazon because you get so much for such a good price! I’ve used a lot of varieties and this one is pretty basic but gets the job done. It’s kind of looks like shredded up card board, it’s easy to clean, doesn’t stick too bad on the bottom of the cages, still has a bit of a fluffy texture (though not as much as the white varieties), and as far as bedding goes is standard sized. It’s a very nice sized bag for the price. I am able to clean two hamster cages and a guinea pig cage with two guinea pigs in it for about 3-4 cleanings depending on who does the changing. Well worth it especially compared to some in store prices!
Works great. Works great for my rabbit for her bedding. A lot is packed into the bed and does a good job at absorbing the mess she makes. Only complaint is the bedding is a little tough but not bad!
Usually good quality. Over a year ago, I started purchasing 2-3 bags a month thru Amazon Subscribe and Save. Generally, the bags are good quality & dust free. However, the previous 2 months were of such poor quality with a dust content so significant, the white bedding was brown… worse was the dust plume & smell. My GP went into sneezing fits, as did I. Initially, I tried mixing with a locally purchased bags. However, the two bags received last month were so bad, I just threw them away & purchased locally. Obviously, bedding is expensive & I had decided to end this subscription. However, with May being a crazy, busy month, I forgot. I was thrilled to discover the 2 bags this month are CLEAN! This is the only brand of white bedding available on Amazon that is soft, absorbent, dye free… & usually dust free… and also a reasonable price. I change my Guinea pig bedding far more than is probably necessary, thus bedding is a huge expense. This product is available in larger size bags at a fairly reasonable price. Given delivery is of high importance for me, I will continue the subscription, re-evaluating on month to month basis.
Will continue to buy due to scent. I have always purchased Kaytee Clean & Cozy bedding for my sons Guinea Pigs. I recently discovered this Lavendar scented one and I will continue to buy! The scent is not overpowering and does seem to last for days. It is just as absorbent as the original bedding. The purple Lavendar pieces in the bedding give it a nice color for the cage too! Really glad that I stumbled upon this scent and will continue to buy from here on out!
Nice scent. This bedding is great for Guinea pig cages, the bedding is really soft and I’m sure comfortable forLittle piggies. The scent keeps the cage smelling fresher for longer. The absorbency is really good, and if you change the cage regularly before it’s too dirty the bedding will dump right out with ease. We do use this on its own, but it can also be mixed with regular unscented bedding at 50/50 mix to make for a lighter scent. It isn’t dusty and all of the bedding pieces are soft and easy to fluff up. I wish that it was all colorful and not mainly white, the white bedding shows every little piece of poop easily 😂 Overall it’s a good quality small pet bedding to keep cages clean and fresh with a light clean scent. I prefer this bedding and I like to mix it to have a lighter scent. Still works just as good and the scent is still noticeably there. We buy this a lot and will continue to for fresh smelling cages. It’s a little pricey for the size of the bag, but worth it.
Great Value. A lot goes along way!! You get so much in this compressed package that I’ll be good for awhile. I use it for my bunnies litter box. He likes it too. It’s basically just soft paper so if he eats it that’s ok!!
This bedding costs more, but hamsters love it. I have had more than half a dozen hamsters in my lifetime, and this soft paper bedding is far preferable to cheaper bedding made from wood chips, etc. The wood chips are often scented with oils, which is not good for hamsters to smell 100% of the time. The paper bedding has basically no scent and absorbs urine and other odors. Hamsters love to burrow into their bedding, and this is great for snuggling. As with all bedding, this type must be changed weekly.
Absorbing, clean and fresh. This is our favorite bedding for both our bunny and hamster. It absorbs and helps keep out smells, it is easy to use and break apart making it last a lot longer.
Great price. Can’t comment on odor control as of right now, but I do know it’s working better than other brands. It is very fluffy and the chinchillas love it.

Good price, good quality, and safe for sensitive small animals.I use it in my “mouse house,” and my 3 mooshkas love to dig around, stuff it in their nests, and build tunnels with this bedding. Its soft, odorless and absorbent with very low dust particles. Safer than pine and cedar wood chips/shavings which can be poisonous to mice, and softer than pellet bedding. I like the natural color more than white paper bedding.This pack of bedding is compact, but loosens up nicely and lasts a long time. Theres enough material for more than a dozen changes. Our mouse house is a 10 gallon fish tank with about 4 inches of bedding per change, 2-3 complete changes per month, and the pack lasts about 6 months.

THE BEST. We have tried evey product under the sun for our hedgie and they all smelled in less than 24 hours. This can go almost a week with no smell. Easy to clean up, looks ok in the cage, good size, our hedgehog loves to root so its great for that. Highly recommend

Great for our guinea pigs. This fluff is great for our guinea pigs. The size is great for 1-2 pigs with regular cleaning. Off you go too long without cleaning it will make it tough and stick to your animals cage but as long as you clean regularly there are no issues. The size is good for the price and we are gait with this product!
It’s Pawfect. This product is pawfect for my little furball! It expands like a fluffy cloud, absorbs like a champ, and feels so comfy for my ferret. Plus, it helps keep the stinky smells at bay!

Good product. The colors are so fun and cute. But it does get all over the place. It came in a good size and it was thick and fluffy.
Love it. I have been using this product for 3 years now it always is a great value for my money it’s performance is great I use one of these packages every 3 weeks for a hamster surprisingly he is still alive it does not leave anything too wet it absorbs real quickly it could also be used probably for rabbits I’m not really sure but it’s got a bunch of different colors which makes it nice to look at and the pieces of paper are thick enough that they are actually do something

Good. Got this for our pet rat. Worked great so far. Rice seems to be comfortable. Durable enough for rat bedding. Was not sticky after spreading it out.
