I got this for the Halloween vibe and I thought with so few LEDs on it that it would be tacky. But the reverse was true! The few lights made it feel spooky and to be honest, more lights would have just ruined the effect.
The trunk and branches are glittered, so you will get some shedding when you handle the tree. It came in a box with the branches folded down, and all you need to do in unfold them and shape the tree to your liking. It came with three plastic figurines and some pumpkin hanging ornaments. I didn’t expect to use them, but I did, and they’re pleasantly silly. I also made a few ornaments from beads.
When Halloween was over, I didn’t want to put the tree away. We liked the orange lights too much and the atmosphere of the whole thing, so I made paper leaves with a die cut machine and hung those on it and made it into a fall tree.
I had the tree on for about three hours a night from mid October through Thanksgiving. I think the lights were a little dimmer, but that was one set of batteries that I used. So, it’s fairly economical on that front. The tree does have a timer, but I think it’s just for turning off after a specific time.

So, I originally bought the Purple version of this with the bats. I got it all set up and in place, and I loved it! In the end I decided to pick up this second one, and OMG I love this one too!
I did read the reviews for this from others. So I knew that some of the glitter might come off when I was “shaping” the tree, which was no big deal it was very little that I saw, and it did not detract from it at all.
It is super easy to shape, and get the branches into position just be gentle with it as there is wires runing through it all with the lights.
The timer works perfectly! I have mine all set up to right now turn on for the 6 hours, in the evenings so that I can have and see that glow without actually having to get up and turn them on or remember to turn them off. I am loving this features so much as most lights I am always forgetting to turn on.
ADDED BONUS: So either I missed seeing this information when I read the description, but both of my trees came with these little vinyl figures. No more than an inch tall, but they are adorable, and I have added them into my Halloween Decorations. They were perfect!
For anyone cusious about space, I have one of these on a short bookcase, and it easily fits on top of it, I had the other on top of my mantle, but then added it to the top of my entertainment center to being the decorations into another room, and it fits on there just perfectly.
I would highly recomend this for anyone who has been looking into getting one. It is worth it.

This is a nice lighted tree. Batteries fit in the base. Has a timer mode. The only complaint is that I wish it had more small parts on each branch that could grip an ornament. These are straight branches with few places to stop an ornament from sliding all the way to the trunk or sliding off the end of the branch. They’re bendable but it looks unnatural to bend them in a way that holds the ornament. I made it work but there is certainly room for improvement on the design.
